Audi A4 Avant × Avant Garde SR10

Today we revisit Rilber’s custom widebody Audi A4 Avant on our Super Register design series, the SR10. Rilber has supported us for countless years through his many build progressions, and we have been honored to be part of the process.

Starting life as a tame Audi A4 Avant wagon, Rilber’s vehicle has turned into a full-fledged show car over years of ownership, a normal sight at the local Southern California car shows when the season is in full effect.

For this stage of the build, he chose our SR10 from the Super Register series to accompany his custom-fabricated widebody fenders. The SR10 features a traditional mesh design with a modern twist; its elevated spoke profile adds depth to the face and creates the illusion that the spokes float between the inner and outer barrels. Rilber chose a subtler scheme to complement his black Avant, a Matte Abyss Blue face with a chrome lip and gold hardware. From afar the Avant looks subtle, but up close the fine details of the build reveal themselves.
